1 /Assisted Purchase

  1. Submit information of the item you wish to purchase through the Purchase Request form.
     

  2. BOE will inform you of availability of the requested item. 
     

  3. Sign up with BOE (For the 1st. time only)
     

  4. We will email you the cost of the item, domestic shipping, international shipping options and the cost of each method (including shipping Insurance), and handling fees.
     

  5. Select a method of international shipping.
     

  6. We'll email you a PayPal online invoice.
     

  7. View invoice details and complete a payment.
     

  8. Upon receipt of your payment,  we will purchase the item and inform you of an estimated dispatch date.
     

  9. Once a parcel is dispatched, we will inform you of a tracking number.

2 / Custom Order

  1. Submit information of the item you wish to purchase through the Purchase Request form.
     

  2. BOE will check with the artist/manufacturer to see if a custom order is available.
     

  3. We quote you a handling fee of your custom order. The fee varies depending on the complexity of your request. Once we get your confirmation that you agree to the amount quoted, we will ask the artist/manufacturer for the cost estimation.
     

  4. Sign up with BOE (For the 1st. time only)
     

  5. We will email you the cost of the item, domestic shipping, international shipping options and the cost of each method (including shipping Insurance), and handling fees.
     

  6. Select a method of international shipping.
     

  7. We'll email you a PayPal online invoice.
     

  8. View invoice details and complete a payment.
     

  9. Upon receipt of your payment,  we will place a custom order with the artist/manufacturer. We will also take care of further correspondence between the two parties regarding the item's specifications and delivery time, etc.
     

  10. Once a parcel is dispatched, we will inform you of a tracking number.

3 / Online Search & Purchase 

  1. Submit information of the item you wish to purchase through the Purchase Request form.
     

  2. BOE will find the item online and inform you of availability.

    ​*If we find the item in an online store and you wish to make a purchase and arrange shipments by yourself, we will only charge you a search fee. Upon receipt of your payment, we will inform you of a URL of the store.

    *If the item cannot be found online, you can switch to an offline search.
     

  3.  Sign up with BOE (For the 1st. time only)
     

  4. We will email you the cost of the item, domestic shipping, international shipping options and the cost of each method (including shipping Insurance), and handling fees.
     

  5. Select a method of international shipping.
     

  6. We'll email you a PayPal online invoice.
     

  7. View invoice details and complete a payment.
     

  8. Upon receipt of your payment,  we will purchase the item and inform you of an estimated dispatch date.
     

  9. Once a parcel is dispatched, we will inform you of a tracking number.

4 / Offline Search & Purchase 

  1. Submit information of the item you wish to purchase through the Purchase Request form.
     

  2. We will notify you a fee estimate for offline search. The fee varies depending on the difficulty of the search.
     

  3. Once you agree to the amount quoted, we'll email you a PayPal online invoice.
     

  4. View invoice details and complete a payment.
     

  5. Upon receipt of your payment, we will search for the item by contacting the manufacturer or specialty store.
    Note: The search fee is not refundable even if your requested item cannot be found.
     

  6. Sign up with BOE (For the 1st. time only)
     

  7. We will email you the cost of the item, domestic shipping, international shipping options and the cost of each method (including shipping Insurance), and handling fees (the search fee excluded).
     

  8. Select a method of international shipping.
     

  9. We'll email you a PayPal online invoice.
     

  10. View invoice details and complete a payment.
     

  11. Upon receipt of your payment,  we will purchase the item and inform you of an estimated dispatch date.
     

  12. Once a parcel is dispatched, we will inform you of a tracking number.

First Time Customer Identity Verification

In signing up with BOE, the following information are required in order to process the Identity Verification which has been mandated by the Japanese government to all package forwarding agents from 1st April, 2013.

  • Your name

  • Your date of birth

  • Your current address​
